Junior Church

Praise God! We are looking forward to another service in Junior Church!
God has richly blessed us.

There is so much planning going on! God is giving us new ideas to bring into Junior Church, so keep praying for us. This week, April and I ask you to pray that lives will be changed through the lessons that God is allowing us to teach. We are so thankful for this ministry!

Remember March 6th! Junior Church will be coming into the big church! There are two things that we would like for each of you to do for us;

  •  1. Pray for us, and

  • 2. Bring someone with you!

We are working on a brochure for Junior Church. Right now it is still being planned.

We love you all!

Special Prayer Request

  • Please remember April Holt when you pray. Give her a call sometime this week and tell her that you miss her. Encourage her to come back to church. Her phone number is available if needed.

  • Pat Wood is having tests tomorrow. Pray for a miraculous report.

  • Heather Clabo (17year old grand daughter of Jack & Faye McCarter) has a life threatening heart condition. She will be having surgery on March 9th. Pray for healing. Remember her family as well.

  • Kim Simcox (Todd’s sister-in-law) has been battling breast cancer for quite some time. Pray for healing and encouragement.

  • Linda’s son-in-law’s mother was killed in a car accident on Thursday. Please remember that family when you pray.

Sunday School

Mrs. Lisa’s Sunday school class will be reciting the entire 91st Psalm in front of the church next week (March 6th)! Please pray for them. Parents, if your child is in Mrs. Lisa’s class, please encourage him/her to memorize and practice reciting this piece of scripture aloud.

Thought For Today

Lesson in Love

As a group of college students toured the slums of a city, one of the girls, seeing a little girl playing in the dirt, asked a guide, "Why doesn't her mother clean her up?"

"Madam," he replied, "that girl's mother probably loves her, but she doesn't hate dirt. You hate dirt, but you don't love her enough to go down there and clean her up. Until hate for dirt and love for that child are in the same person, that little girl is likely to remain as she is."

Until hate for sin and love for the sinner gets in a person, he will do little about the plight of the lost.

ROMANS 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
