"INVENTORY, SEARCH ME, O GOD"
by
Pastor Tony Sutton
AS
A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS MAN WOULD TAKE AN INVENTORY TO SEE
WHAT SELLS AND WHAT JUST SETS THERE TAKING UP VALUABLE
SPACE, SO SHOULD WE. THIS ALLOWS US TO LOOK BACK AND SEE
WHAT AND WHERE WE ARE WITH GOD. WE CAN SEE IF WE HAVE BEEN
PROFITABLE TO GOD (LEADING SOULS TO HIM, BRINGING PRAISE TO
HIS NAME) OR UNPROFITABLE (A REPROACH, TEARING DOWN, WARMING
A SEAT, SCATTERING ABROAD.) THERE IS NO PLACE TO BE IDLE.
PEOPLE ARE PASSING AWAY EVERY MOMENT, THEY DON'T HAVE TIME
FOR US TO DECIDE IF WE WILL SERVE THE LORD. "FOR ME AND
MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD" PRAISE BE TO GOD
ALMIGHTY!
Psalms 23
Psalms 23:1 The
LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalms 23:2
He maketh me to lie down in green
pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalms 23:3
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth
me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalms 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalms 23:5
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Psalms 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house
of the LORD for ever.
2
Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth.
